T2 Recon Nailing System

The T2 Recon/Antegrade Femoral Nailing System is the latest development for the treatment of proximal hip and diaphyseal femoral fractures with the following features:

Features & Benefits

  • 4° lateral bend and R2.0 antecurvature allow for trochanteric insertion in either Recon or Antegrade Femoral mode.
  • Cannulated implants allow reamed or unreamed insertion over a 3 x 1000 mm guide wire.
  • No guide wire exchange required after reaming.
  • Cannulated 6.5 mm lag screws can be inserted over K-wires after desired positioning is achieved.
  • Ø9 and 11 mm implants have a proximal diameter of 13 mm.
  • Ø13 and 15 mm implants have a proximal diameter of 15 mm.
  • Distal oblong hole allows dynamization.
  • Dedicated set screw provides fixed angle by tightening down on proximal locking screw in Antegrade Femoral mode.
  • Multiple End Caps provide optimal intraoperative length adjustment and prevent bony ingrowth into the driving end for easy nail removal.
